Description[]
He looks to be of similar age to Arthur, but describes himself as being over a hundred years old. His voice has a southern accent. He wears round glasses and has neatly parted hair. He wears a three-piece suit with a bow tie.[1]
History[]
In 1873, Wallace Larson came to Mount Hoosac to open a mine, which proved successful.[2] He had a wife and three children: Tristan, Lucien and Addison. After his wife and two sons died tragically, Larson devoted himself to trying to find a way to bring them back, which led him to the Order of the Fallen Star. For power, he sacrificed his daughter to the gods, who tore her apart in a way that saved, became or made the town of Addison.[1] His family was among the earliest members of the Order, and his home in Addison is a former Lodge for the Order. At some point during his membership with the Order, Larson was able to locate the Gray Stone[3]
Season Three[]
Larson introduces himself to Arthur under the guise of Andrew Larson, claiming to be the grandson of Wallace. He claims to be an accountant in Arkham. Under his direction, he had Uncle bring Arthur back to his estate after Arthur's encounter with the invisible creature from the mines. He claims to have been brought back to Addison to deal with the creature, disturbed from its sleep in the mines by a surveyor. He offers to give Arthur a ride back to Arkham, but his demeanor changes when Arthur mentions having heard a crying woman.
After having Arthur tied to a chair in the dining room, Larson reveals his identity to Arthur and his past regarding his daughter, Addison. Arthur swears to kill him, and Larson has him thrown into the mines.[1]
Larson finds Uncle's body in his estate, and recites "A Poison Tree" by William Blake to Yellow, who is now in his head. The two agree to seek revenge on Arthur.[4]
Season Four[]
Larson hires The Butcher to kill Arthur, specifically requesting to make it a painful death.[5] Later, when the Butcher captures Arthur in the basement of an apartment building, Larson informs him that Daniel survived as a witness, sending him to finish the job while he takes care of Arthur. Arthur escapes before he arrives.[6]
In the Order of the Fallen Star, Larson appears with the Grand Vizier, wearing a mask with a mule's head and a peacock tail behind it. He is announced as the new Grand Vizier of the Order. When his power is challenged, Yellow projects out of Larson, forcing an Order member to kill himself, before retreating to another room. Larson catches up with Arthur in the Canaanite room. He claims the machine in that room will separate Arthur and John, who he intends to claim and eventually release "back where he belongs". Larson is shot in the stomach by Detective Noel as he flees the room. After John's confrontation with Yellow, Larson returns fire and shoots Noel off-center in the neck. He runs, and Arthur shoots him twice in the back. When confronted with Kayne, he asks if he is Nyarlathotep; shortly after, Kayne bursts Larson's eyes and sends him and Yellow to the Dreamlands.[3]

- Larson was named after the cartoonist Gary Larson.
- Larson asking Arthur, "Do you come willingly?" is an intentional reference to when Arthur was asked the same question in Part Twelve.
